CP Buttons is a facility based service offered through United Cerebral Palsy of Arkansas Employment Service. This service is designed to teach universal work skills to men and women with severe disabilities and facilitate future employment.

Each person has an individualized program plan developed to address their vocational needs. Individuals are paid for work performed in accordance with a U.S. Dept. of Labor wage/hour certificate.

Currently, training is being provided for over 35 men and women with developmental disabilities. Training is conducted through three work areas:

A manufacturing service designed to meet the advertising or promotional needs of businesses, churches, schools, reunions, advertising agencies and political hopefuls. Buttons range from 1 ¼ to 3 inches in size and can be produced as magnets or key chains.

A service provided to businesses and organizations to fold, stuff, label and process for bulk mail fulfillment. This training area is utilized to promote and enhance skills to transition persons with developmental disabilities into competitive employment.

Assembly or packaging of products or materials that normally can not be performed by machines. Training in this area compliments the other areas by emphasizing fine and gross motor skills.
