United Cerebral Palsy of Arkansas is a non-profit organization based in Little Rock, Arkansas. UCP was incorporated in 1957, for parents of children with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities who could not find assistance other than state run institutions. United Cerebral Palsy is one the largest and comprehensive agencies in the state of Arkansas. The current array of services has grown in scope from day care and parent relief for five children to a comprehensive network of habilitation/rehabilitation capable of serving disabled individuals from any community in the state.
United Cerebral Palsy of Arkansas, Inc. is independently governed and operated by a Board of Directors and is affiliated with National United Cerebral Palsy Associations by written Affiliation Agreement and is subject to certain privileges and obligations by that agreement.
United Cerebral Palsy Associations is comprised of a nationwide network of 112 affiliate partners who strive to ensure the inclusion of persons with disabilities in every facet of society. As the second largest health charity in America, United Cerebral Palsy's mission is to advance the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities, through our commitment to the principles of independence, inclusion and self-determination.
