Supported Employement is a services funded through Arkansas Rehabilitation Services (ARS) of which United Cerebral Palsy is a vendor. Supported Employment is a "place and train" model as opposed to the "train and place" model found in Sheltered Workshops and Work Activity facilities. Supported Employment utilizes a job coaqch who is responsibilitie for training the individual with a disability on job duties and responsibilities. Ultimately, the job coach should reduce the time spent with the individual so the individual can perform all aspects of the job successfully.
